Nightguard is a native iOS app that allows you to view your blood glucose values from the Nightscout backend. Additionally, it supports the Apple Watch.
The app offers several features including:
- Ability to define an acceptable range of blood glucose values
- Alert notifications when values are outside of the defined range
- Snooze alerts for a specified time period
- Reactivate alerts at any time
- Alerts for rapid increases or decreases in values
- Overlay chart showing previous day's values for future reference
- Statistics function to overlay different days to fine-tune basal rates
- Optional syncing of blood glucose values to HealthKit
In order for the alarms to work, the app must remain active. There is an option to enable a screen lock that will keep the app running throughout the night.
